Where to find us:
Stevenage is easily accessible from locations around the country, with The Lamex Stadium also simple to find once you’ve got here. As well as the information below home fans can view our First Time Guide here and away fans can view our Away Guide here.
Leave A1(M) at Junction 7 and head into Stevenage
Cross over first roundabout (2nd exit)
Cross over second roundabout (2nd exit) and free parking (500 spaces) is available on your left hand side at Fairlands Valley car park. The ground will be on your right.
Once you have parked please make your way safely to the ground via the underpass to the far right hand side, near to the roundabout. Please do not cross the main road by running across it.
Free match day parking for 500 cars is available to fans at Fairlands Valley car park to the north of the ground. This is clearly signposted as you enter Stevenage from Junction 7 of the A1(M).
Please note football fans can not park in the following local retail parks due to parking restrictions, exceeding which could result in fines:
Roaring Meg Retail Park (Burger King, Pizza Hut, Toys R Us, DFS, Currys / PC World, Harvester etc)
Roaring Meg South (Wickes and The Range)
Stevenage Retail Park (Dunelm Mill, In n Out, Maplin, Halfords etc)
Any fans parking in nearby residential streets are asked to park considerately and not to block driveways or inconvenience local residents. Additional parking is also available in one of several town centre pay & display car parks. You can then catch our match day shuttle bus service to The Lamex Stadium from the bus or railway station. See below for more details.
Stevenage railway station is on the East Coast main line and has regular services running between the capital and the north. Great Northern trains run between London Kings Cross (from 25 mins) and Peterborough (50 mins). Many East Coast mainline services also stop at Stevenage providing travel options between London, Leeds, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
On arrival at the station you then have three options to continue your journey to The Lamex
By shuttle bus:
Our new shuttle bus service with Arriva costs just £1 return and takes football fans from the railway station and bus station directly to The Lamex Stadium. Services commence approx two hours before kick-off on a Saturday (80 mins on a midweek home game) and continue an hour after the final whistle. Please click here for the latest timetable
Please note the shuttle departs from Stop N at the railway station. Turn left out of the ticket barriers and head towards the town. Take the first stairs on the left before the bridge over the dual carriageway and Stop N is at the bottom on the right.
Please note the shuttle departs from Stop K at the bus station. This is outside Matalan, towards the vehicle entrance of the bus station.
By taxi: A taxi will take five minutes and cost approximately £5. Turn left out of the ticket barriers and head towards the town. Take the first stairs on the left before the bridge over the dual carriageway and the taxi rank is on the left.
By foot: The railway station is approximately one mile away from the ground. Turn left out of the ticket barriers towards the town. Take the stairs on the right before the bridge over the dual carriageway and head along the A602, Lytton Way with the railway on your right. At the roundabout which has the police station on the right, use the underpass to take the second exit into Six Hills Way towards Asda. At the next roundabout take the third exit (South) continuing along the A602 Monkswood Way, passing Asda on your right and North Herts College. After about 3/4 mile you will arrive at a roundabout and the ground will be opposite you on the other side of the A602.
