REDUCED BUS FARE FOR FANS ON MATCH DAYS

8 January 2015

Stevenage FC have agreed a new deal with Arriva to offer Boro fans cheaper bus travel on match days, making it easier to get to The Lamex Stadium by public transport.

From this Saturday Stevenage season ticket holders who show their season ticket book, or any fans in possession of a valid match day ticket will be able to travel on Arriva services throughout Stevenage for the child fare on a single, return or day ticket. Accompanying children (no limit on number) can travel for just 50p.

Fans travelling to The Lamex from the town centre bus station (a five minute walk from the railway station, via the Arts & Leisure centre walkway) can use the SB5 service which takes approximately 5 minutes to reach the nearest bus stop on Monkswood Way, with the ground then accessible via the underpass. The SB4 service, available from the bus stop outside the North Terrace, takes fans back into town after the game.
