NO MORE PARKING AT ROARING MEG

12 September 2016

Supporters who have previously parked at Roaring Meg retail park during midweek fixtures at The Lamex Stadium are advised that parking will no longer be available to football fans.

For the past two seasons fans have been able to park at the retail park for free during midweek fixtures only, including pre-season friendlies, cup competitions and Spurs U23 games, with parking restrictions lifted for these games by park management. However due to major ongoing refurbishment at the retail scheme and the impending arrival of a number of new retailers, which is expected to see an increased demand for parking on the site, parking for football fans will no longer be available.

Parking restrictions will therefore be in operation at Roaring Meg on all match days (including midweek games) from this month onwards. Park rules restrict parking to 90 minutes on a match day, which come in to effect two hours before kick-off. Anyone exceeding this time limit could face a £100 fine.

Football fans can still take advantage of free parking at Fairlands Valley, opposite the ground, for all matches.

Tues 4th October - Stevenage v Brighton (Checkatrade Trophy)
Tues 8th November - Stevenage v Southend (Checkatrade Trophy)
