Last Season
Cheltenham’s stay in the Vanarama National was certainly a brief one, with the Robins gaining promotion as champions in their first season back in the fifth tier since 1999. Gary Johnson’s side took the league by storm, breaking the 100-point barrier, conceding only thirty goals and losing only five times all season. An unforgettable season for the Robins means that they return to League Two reinvigorated, hoping to banish the ghosts of 2014/15.

Key Players
Danny Parslow was ever-present in Town’s stalwart defence last season, and will no doubt prove key this season if defensive standards are to be maintained. Securing Asa Hall for another year will also provide a sturdy basis in the middle of the park. Strikers Dan Holman (16 goals in 18 games) and Danny Wright (21 goals in 42 games) will also provide a lot for defences in League Two to think about.
