Rookies Day Nursery has the perfect opportunity for the next stage of your career and is looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner, based at it's new state-of-the-art facility at Shephalbury in Stevenage.
Rookies Day Nurseries, having acquired Lily’s Day Nursery in 2014, opened their first setting in Stevenage, Herts. It's a brand new, 5000 sq feet prestigious, purpose built nursery on one level, which is the first of several new settings planned.
Rookies is currently graded Good by OFSTED and aspires to be Outstanding, based on the highest quality of care. Teaching Learning & Assessment takes place within the unique welcoming environment of bright, spacious rooms, high ceilings and natural sunlight, encouraging engagement and enabling environment.
You will, as a minimum, be qualified to NVQ level 2 or 3. The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise workload is essential, as is knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education. We require candidates to have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be strong in building relationships with children, management, parents and guardians
