Stevenage have agreed to sign former Morecambe captain Mark Hughes ahead of the new Sky Bet League 2 season.
The 28-year old centre-back arrives at The Lamex Stadium after a two year spell at The Globe Arena where he made 78 appearances.
Having started his career at Everton, Mark has also featured for Northampton, Walsall, Bury and Accrington in the Football League. He also spent a successful year with North Queensland Fury in the Australian A-League, going on to win a number of player of the season awards.
