HARRY WORLEY RUPTURES ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT

23 August 2014

After being substituted early against Southend due to injury, it has been confirmed that Harry Worley has sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.

Physio Paul Dando opens his column in today's match day programme by saying, "Unfortunately I must begin on a sour note with the news that Harry sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament at Southend last weekend.

"This was confirmed following an MRI scan on Monday and is obviously a blow for both Harry and the squad. He was due to see the surgeon late last week and we are keen to get things moving with his surgery ASAP. These injuries are unpredictable and this is the second ACL we have suffered in the space of six months, having not seen any in the previous six seasons - which is scant consolation for both Deano and H. I will, of course, keep you updated on his progress."

Everyone at the Club would like to wish Harry a full and speedy recovery from his injury.
