On Saturday 26th September Stevenage take on local rivals Cambridge United at The Abbey Stadium and Stevenage Ladies FC will be getting there via pedal power for charity!

The Ladies will be cycling a 35 mile route to Cambridge to raise £5,000 to help fund part of a £100,000 regeneration project at Codicote FC where they play their home games. The regeneration of the facility will include a 100 seat stand, floodlights and a new pitch which the ladies will have access to as part of a 15 year lease agreement, providing a sustainable future for the club.

The ride which will depart The Lamex Stadium at 8am on the day of the match and we have ten places reserved for supporters of the club who fancy supporting the ladies and making an alternative trip to the game.

To register your interest in the ride please email alext@stevenagefc.com by Friday 31st July. Riders will be required to raise a minimum of £100 and be of a competent level of fitness for the route. To find out more please contact Stevenage Football Club Foundation on 01438 222222.
