LEON HUNTER TO JOIN NOTTINGHAM FOREST

26 March 2015

Stevenage FC Head of Recruitment Leon Hunter will join Nottingham Forest next week in the role of Football Coordinator.

The highly-rated 33-year old has been previously linked with several Championship outfits and will now move to The City Ground. During his three years at The Lamex Stadium, Hunter has overhauled the club’s player identification and scouting network, whilst working closely with the club’s academy.

Chairman Phil Wallace says, "We are sorry to see Leon leave us but it's an upward step for him which we all knew was inevitable, so we are also delighted he's going to a great club like Forest. He has a remarkable knowledge of players at all levels and an ability to communicate with players, owners and managers, bringing them together to get deals done.

"He's learnt a lot in his 3 years with us and he belongs at the highest level. We wish him the very best in his new career."
