Bus station to railway station to Stevenage FC - just £1 return!
Stevenage FC has teamed up with Arriva to offer fans a shuttle bus service to and from The Lamex Stadium on match days.
The new service, which will run in a loop from the bus station and the railway station to the football club, will commence from Saturday 27th February when Exeter City are our visitors and will cost just £1 return.
For Saturday games the first shuttle will be approximately two hours before kick-off and post-match services will operate until 18.30, allowing fans to have a post-match pint in the Broadhall Suite before heading home.
For midweek Stevenage games the first shuttle will be approximately 80 minutes before kick-off and post-match services will operate until 22.30.
Dave Toyn, Marketing, Media & Communications Manager at Stevenage FC said, “We are pleased to be launching this new bus shuttle service in partnership with Arriva which will make it easier for home and away supporters to reach The Lamex Stadium on match days.
"Currently fans with a valid match ticket can enjoy reduced match day bus travel around the town with Arriva and this new shuttle service from the bus and railway station is the next step in providing further benefits for fans and one of a number of schemes we are currently working on together.”
The new shuttle bus service will drop fans off and collect from the bus stop to the north of the ground, behind the North Terrace. The stopping point at the railway station will be Stop N.
