Andy Bond, Simon Walton, Adam Marriott, Harry Worley, Chris Day, Dean Parrett, Charlie Lee and Chris Beardsley all took time out after training this afternoon to visit local addresses to meet some of their youngest supporters, all of whom have an Under-12 season ticket for this season.
Five-year old Thomas Watts (above) welcomed Simon Walton, Adam Marriott, Andy Bond and Harry Worley to his house in his brand new Stevenage kit and happily had a kick around with the players in the garden before stopping for autographs and photos.
He is a season ticket holder in the Main Stand with his dad David, who after the visit told us, "We can't put into words how grateful we are that the players came to visit Tom and present him with his season ticket. Tom described it as the best day of his life and has since been down to the park and told all his friends! I think it's brilliant that they took time outside training to come in and spend time chatting and playing with Tom and he'll definitely be cheering them on even more from our seats now."
The same squad members then visited Toby and Dylan Draper (Dylan is pictured above with little brother Fraser) who often visit The Lamex Stadium with their dad Dean. The boys and their friends and family happily showed off their football skills before posing for photos.
Meanwhile Chris Day, Chris Beardsley, Dean Parrett and Charlie Lee visited 11-year old Louis Hallett (above) from Stevenage. Louis is a season ticket holder on the East Terrace and has signed up for yet another season as a Boro season ticket holder.
The lads also visited 10 year old Ellie McMillan (above). Ellie had a half season ticket last year but has now upgraded to a full season ticket for the first time!
