Some notable changes...
Ahead of the club’s first pre-season friendly against Biggleswade Town on Saturday 13th July, Stevenage have announced changes to the squad numbers.
There will be some notable alterations ahead of the 2013/14 campaign, with the six new summer signings coming in as follows:
2 - Sam Wedgbury
6 - Luke Jones
10 - Jordan Burrow
14 - Simon Heslop
20 - Jimmy Smith
21 – Oumare Tounkara
Meanwhile, Filipe Morais will change from last season’s number 10 to the ‘Maestro’s Number’ 7! Midfielder Greg Tansey, who netted some sensational strikes from range last season, will wear his original professional number 17 whilst central defender Ben Chorley will pull on his chosen shirt number 4.
Finally, somewhat tellingly, Darius Charles will don the number 9 shirt for the upcoming season.
