17 June 2015

Boro start league campaign at home for seventh consecutive year...

Stevenage will kick-off their 2015/16 Sky Bet League Two season with a home game against Notts County.

Teddy Sheringham's first league game as Stevenage manager will come against the Magpies on Saturday 8th August, with Ricardo Moniz's men looking for a bright start to the campaign after relegation from Sky Bet League 1 last season.

Boro's first away game is the following weekend (Saturday 15th) at Newport County, with a trip to Leyton Orient following that on Tuesday 18th.

Away games at both Barnet and Cambridge are on consecutive weekends in September while Luton Town visit The Lamex Stadium on Saturday 21st November. Barnet (H) is Saturday 23rd January, Cambridge (H) is Saturday 13th February and Luton (A) is on Saturday 2nd April.

Boxing Day will see Stevenage travel to Crawley Town with Dagenham & Redbridge visiting The Lamex just two days later. 2016 begins with a home game against Leyton Orient (Saturday 2nd January) with a trip to Hartlepool next up on Saturday 9th January - depending on the progress of both clubs in the FA Cup.

The Easter period will see Oxford United away (currently scheduled for Saturday 26th March), followed by a home game against Yeovil Town on Easter Monday.

Tuesday evening fixtures this season will see Boro travel to Leyton Orient, Portsmouth, Bristol Rovers and Mansfield, whilst hosting the return fixtures against both Mansfield and Bristol Rovers at home.

Three of Stevenage's final five games are at home, with the regular league season concluding away at Accrington Stanley on Saturday 7th May.
