Stevenage have signed defender Fraser Franks on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old centre-half arrives at The Lamex Stadium after 18 months at Luton Town, where he helped the Hatters to win the Conference title and promotion back to the Football League.
Prior to this Fraser made 60 appearances for Welling United over 18 months in which they won Conference South and he captained the England C team. He also helped AFC Wimbledon to promotion to the Football League in 2011.
The first opportunity to see Fraser in action is this Friday's opening home pre-season friendly against Nottingham Forest (7.30pm KO). Tickets are £15 adults, £12 concession, £10 Under-18s and £5 Under-12s, regardless of seating or standing and can be purchased in advance at www.borotickets.co.uk or on the turnstiles. If you are a 2015/2016 season ticket holder, all pre-season friendlies are only £5.
