Team news:

Graham Westley says home advantage is key to victory against Southend.
Dean Parrett says he is stronger than ever after beating his injury problems.
Phil Brown wants his players to show their character when they visit the Lamex at the weekend.
Southend mifielder, Michael Timlin says they will be in for a battle against Boro on Saturday.
The story so far…
Southend are only a couple of points away from the top three as they hope to keep their good form going and avoid the play-offs, after losing out in the semi-finals last season. The club have only lost three league games in their last 18, going back all the way to October.
The Shrimpers away record is outstanding, only Wycombe have more points away from home - 27 from 15 games.
Recent form:
Last time we met:
After beating Hartlepool on the opening day, Boro travelled to Roots Hall where a 2-0 loss was nothing more than Southend deserved. A disastrous first 20 minutes saw Southend score twice and Harry Worley tear his ACL, which pretty much killed the game off before it even started.
Head to head:
For those suspicious with things like this our record against the Shrimpers does not make for good reading. Boro have never beaten Southend – we have played four times altogether, losing three times and drawing once.
Betting with Sky Bet:
Boro are home underdogs on Saturday and you can get a bumper price of 2/1 for the win with official league sponsors, Sky Bet.
Feeling really confident? Boro to win by two or more goals is 11/2.
After getting his first goals in the Football League last Saturday and signing his first professional contract earlier in the week, Ben Kennedy is favourite to be our first goalscorer at 7/1.
