The 25-year old striker/winger has made 86 appearances and scored 14 goals for Stevenage in League One, since previous manager Gary Smith bought him for a five-figure fee from Tranmere two seasons ago.
Chairman Phil Wallace said “Lucas triggered his option year automatically last season with the number of games he played. He now feels it’s time to move on and if we get the right fee then that can happen.”
