Stevenage FC can confirm that four players have been released, whilst a further three have been transfer listed.
Patrick Agyemang has already agreed terms with Portsmouth, whom he spent the second half of last season on loan with, and will join the south coast side permanently upon completion of his Boro contract.
Defenders Andy Iro, Miguel Comminges and Bondz N’Gala will also leave the Lamex Stadium with the club opting not to take up options on their contracts.
Meanwhile, three players in the final year of their contracts have been made available for transfer; Anthony Grant, David Gray and Canadian international striker Marcus Haber.
Speaking to the official website today, Chairman Phil Wallace said:“Our income for last season was down 30% and this impacts on the maximum permitted budget we can allocate for players next season.
“Graham wants to bring new lads in to replace those listed as he doesn’t feel they’ll get many game minutes under him next season. If that’s the case it’s better for all that they move on to develop their careers. We’ve had some interest already so we’ll see what will happen”
