THALASSITIS MOVES ON LOAN

15 November 2012

Stevenage FC striker Michael Thalassitis has joined Bishop’s Stortford on a one-month emergency loan deal.

The 19-year old enjoyed a successful spell with Boreham Wood last season, where he scored 5 goals in 11 games. It prompted a short term move to the Blue Square Premier League with Hayes and Yeading and after netting 3 goals in just 5 games he was recalled to Boro.

He made two appearances for Cambridge United earlier this year as he looked to gain as much first team experience as he could, and he is now hoping that a month with the Blues will give him even more chance to show what he is capable of.

He joins up with Boro team mate Anthony Furlonge who is currently with the Blue Square North side.
