Supporter Loyalty Card Golden Draw winner revealed...
One lucky fan will be watching 2015/16 on us after winning our Golden Draw for 2014/15 Supporter Loyalty Card holders.
Trevor Jones was selected at random from all fans who submitted a completed Supporter Loyalty Card last season and will now enjoy the forthcoming campaign as a Stevenage FC season ticket holder.
Trevor, who lives in Stevenage, told us, “I remember handing the completed loyalty card into the shop but never expected to get anything. I’d actually forgotten about it and it was only when I put the phone down after the club had rung to tell me that it sunk in that I’d got a free season ticket!
“I’ve been coming to Stevenage since around 2000. I played football when I was younger and have been interested in football so wanted to go to a live game. Arsenal Reserves played at Boreham Wood but I chose Stevenage and have been going ever since.”
Talking about the Supporter Loyaty Card scheme, he explained, “I’ve never quite been able to get to enough games to justify a season ticket in the past so the Supporter Loyalty Card scheme was great for someone like me. It was free to sign up and the rewards you get are very helpful. Among other rewards I got a free programme, discount off a game and also a retail voucher which I used to buy a lovely shirt.
“I’d thoroughly recommend others who can’t get a season ticket for whatever reason to use this scheme. I certainly would have used it again had I not won!”
Looking ahead to the forthcoming season he tells us, “I went to the Forest game and was impressed with the youngsters. I watched the FA Youth Cup games last season and thought they were very unlucky against Everton and I like this playing style. Hopefully if we can play good football along the way under the new management then we’ll have a good season and we can bring the crowds in!”
The Supporter Loyalty Card Scheme rewards floating fans and those unable to buy a season ticket, whatever their reason, with a select number of key benefits. The Supporter Loyalty Card is a six-match pack which enables fans to be recognised for their loyalty, with a free league match ticket and entry into the Golden Draw for a free 2016/17 season ticket available once your stamped card is complete.
