We preview Saturday's home game...

Plymouth Argyle

Sky Bet League 2

Saturday 5th September

The Lamex Stadium, Stevenage, SG2 8RH

Referee: Gary Sutton

Kick-off: 3pm

Ticket news:

Tickets are available at in-advance prices up until midnight at Boro Tickets and then on the turnstiles and from the ticket office tomorrow at matchday prices.

As it is international weekend, Championship and Premier League season ticket holders can get in for just £10 with a valid season ticket card. More details here.

Team news:

Ronnie Henry could make a return to the team, having spent the last ten days building up his strength after suffering from mumps.

McCombe, Whelpdale and Parrett are also in contention having recovered from recent injuries.

In less good news; Schumacher will be out for a few weeks after picking up a hamstring injury against Dagenham and McAllister is still around two to three weeks from a return to training.

Dale Gorman, Ryan Johnson and Jesse Joronen are all away on international duty.

Adam Marriot and Ben Kennedy are progressing well from their injuries although it is too early to put a date on their returns whilst Rohdell Gordon suffered a recurrence of his hamstring problem and is a couple of weeks away from full training.

The story so far…

Plymouth are flying - 12 points from a possible 15 has them second in the table and with maximum points on the road, the Pilgrims will be full of confidence.

Head to Head:

Boro have only met Plymouth twice – both coming last season. A last minute penalty for the Pilgrims helped them to a 1-1 draw down in Cornwall and another last minute goal, this time for us was enough for a 1-0 victory at the Lamex.

Betting with Sky Bet:

Boro are underdogs with the bookies for the win – 9/5 with official league sponsors, Sky Bet.

After getting his first goal of the season last weekend, Tom Hitchcock will be hoping to add to his tally and he is 13/2 to score first.

Although he is yet to find the net this season, Dean Parrett is great value in the goalscoring markets – 12/1 to score first and 9/2 to score anytime.
