Join the Stevenage FC Foundation team!

Stevenage FC Foundation (Registered Charity: 1140006) is seeking highly motivated, responsible and committed individuals to work within its expanding community programme.

The following vacancies are available:

Full Time Foundation Coach
The Foundation is looking to add a full time coach to lead and deliver on a number of projects including soccer camps/centres, match day packages, and in particular the schools programme & extra-curricular activities.

Job Title: Foundation Coach
Reports To: Assistant Head of Foundation
Location: Various locations across Stevenage and Hertfordshire
Contract: 20 hours per week
Salary: £15,000 per annum (pro rata based on 40 hours per week)

Job Purpose: To deliver high quality school & community based coaching for all ages in Stevenage and surrounding areas. Whilst delivering for Stevenage FC Foundation you will enable individuals to develop their abilities to their potential and enjoy physical activity which will encourage them to sustain activity levels. 

Coaches will also promote positive healthy lifestyle choices and deliver educational messages through the median of football and sport through coaching. Our work will be focused delivering within primary/secondary school settings.

Casual Foundation Coach
The Foundation is looking to expand its pool of casual coaches to deliver on a number of projects including soccer camps/centres, match day packages, and in particular the schools programme & extra-curricular activities with a number of vacancies available.

Coaches should meet the following criteria:

Essential Criteria
• Minimum FA Level 2 qualified
• Experience of leading football and sport specific sessions
• Experience of working with children aged between 3-18
• Hold a current FA Safeguarding Children certificate
• Hold a current FA Emergency First Aid Certificate
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Criteria
• FA Youth Module qualifications
• Other FA qualifications (e.g. Futsal, Goalkeeping etc)
• NGB qualifications in other sports
• Experience of working with children within a school setting
• Experience of coaching in a community setting
• Experience of working with in a club environment
• Herts Sports Partnership CoachMark
