Steve Arnold signed for Stevenage at the beginning of the 2012/13 season.
The goalkeeper came in primarily as an understudy to first choice Chris Day however he made his first team debut a few in the November of his maiden season and retained the starting spot after a strong of excellent performances. He was given a straight red card in Boro's away fixture with Carlisle United in 2012 but managed to force his way back into the first team after his suspension expired.
He joined from Wycombe Wanderers where he was second to Nikki Bull but had spent the entire season prior to moving to Boro on loan at Conference side Hayes and Yeading, where he was voted Supporter’s Player of the Year.
The former Norwich City trainee also had a spell with Arsenal, and spent time with Grays Athletic in the Conference.Â
