Requirements for the role are:
- Age 18 +
- Fit and reliable
- Willing to work as part of a team
- NVQ 2 Spectator Safety qualification OR a willingness to complete this (funded by Club)
- Attendance at role related training sessions

Stevenage FC values the positive impact dedicated in-house stewards can have on the fan experience at the Lamex Stadium. Previous experience is not a pre-requisite for this role but the right attitude and approach to customer service and safety is. To support and develop you the Club has a training and familiarisation programme that leads to a nationally recognised NVQ qualification. You are paid for the hours you work and gain valuable experience, in a variety of contexts, to develop you and your CV.
