A young Stevenage side were beaten 2-0 by Royston Town FC in the Herts Senior Cup on Tuesday night.
The Boro side comprised of almost all youth team players, aside form the inclusion of Matt Ball, who showed a strong desire to get minutes on a pitch, expressing his will to play after putting in a half hour shift earlier in the day in a friendly at Reading.
Luke Robins and Jack Bradshaw got the goals for the Crows who progress to the Third Round of the competition.
