Gary Smith has made two changes to the side that began the game with Tranmere Rovers two weeks ago, and both are forced.

Darius Charles misses through suspension so Miguel Comminges comes into the defence, whilst Filipe Morais is replaced by Luke Freeman after going off injured in the fixture previous.

The home side line up in a 4-4-2 formation as they look to gain a first win under new management.

Pools (4-4-2) Flinders; Horwood, Baldwin, Collins, Richards; Monkhouse, Sweeney, Humphreys, Franks; Howard, Wyke
