Stevenage have completed the signing of Yeovil Town's Bondz N'Gala on a two year deal.
The 22 year old centre back joins from the Glovers where in his single season with the club he made 35 appearances. N'Gala is a towering centre half who began his career with West Ham United. He spent a total of four years with the Hammers and made his only senior appearance for them in 2009 in a League Cup fixture.
His two years within West Ham's youth system were spent with Mark Newson, now Boro's Assistant Manager, and thinking back to working with the London-born defender Newson told us "He is a dominant centre half. He's big and strong and was my captain in the two years I spent working with him. He's a great leader and always works hard for the team, so I'm delighted to be working with him again."
During his time at the Hammers he secured loan deals with MK Dons, Scunthorpe United and Plymouth Argyle. The latter of those deals was made permanent in the summer of 2010 and in his single season with the Pilgrims he made 28 appearances. Financial problems at the club meant that Bondz moved onto Yeovil at the end of the season.
