The draw for Round 1 of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy will be made on Saturday 18th August, live on Sky Sports' Soccer AM programme.
Boro's possible opponents include AFC Wimbledon, who we have already been paired with in the Capital One Cup, as well as League One rivals Crawley Town and MK Dons.
The draw will be made between 10.00am and 10.30am and will be split into four sections as below: -
