WET WET WET: TRAIN IN THE RAIN

24 July 2012

It may be sunny where you are but our first day of rain has arrived in Dublin, but that hasn’t stopped the boys taking to the training field!

Boro leave Ireland tomorrow and tonight is our big match against UCD; after scoring seven goals against St James’ Gate on Saturday evening spirits are high ahead of tonight’s kick off.

The lads had a light session this morning which included some running and stretching before moving onto some ball work, set piece and shooting practice.

Sharpness was again clear to see, Luke Freeman curled in three perfect efforts without fail whilst Darius Charles produced the moment of the session with a chest and volley that beat Steve Arnold and sent the left back turned striker into a topless celebration!

Whilst on the trip the Boro players have had the chance to relax as well as train, and with that the bond is growing every day. Last night a few team members along with staff went to watch as MK Dons won 2-0 against last weekend’s opponents ‘the Gate’ but now all minds are set on tonight’s fixture.
