Boro Player spoke to Bondz N’Gala after Saturday’s defeat at Rotherham United and despite the disappointment he is looking to recover against his former club on Tuesday night.

Stevenage found themselves three goals down before James Dunne and Filipe Morais goals brought it back to 3-2, however the comeback couldn’t be completed and the side were knocked out of the cup. In an honest look at the game, Bondz told us “We were very unlucky not to get something from the game with our performance in the last half an hour or so but we’ve got to do more to win the game and not concede.”

He described our opponents as “not really a League Two side on paper” after a summer in which they signed “a lot of League One players” before looking ahead to the midweek fixture.

He said “I know Yeovil pretty well, I was there last season so it will be an interesting encounter to go back down there.

“The team has pretty much changed but I think there are four or five lads that were there last season so it should be interesting playing against them.”
