The club has today announced that it will be taking a traveling party of 21 people to Nakuru in Kenya in May 2013.

The party includes club staff; Kit Manager Rob Robertson, Analysis and Media Manager Mitchell Jones, Club Photographer Kevin Coleman, four Community Coaches and of course Boro Bear! They will be joined by club supporters and local volunteers for the two week adventure.

The party will undertake teaching, coaching and a building project whilst in the Nakuru Provence of Kenya, as they aim to make a difference in one of the most deprived areas of the country.

Head of Community Alex Tunbridge stated ‘we have had a fantastic response to the trip with over 50 people attending an information evening a few weeks ago and since then we have had to unwillingly select just 21 people for the fantastic trip. The trip is a great opportunity for the club to use the skills and experience its stakeholders hold to make a difference in a deprived community’.
