POPPY APPEAL SHIRTS TO GO UNDER HAMMER

22 November 2012

During our Armed Forces Day at the Lamex Stadium the Stevenage players had the poppy printed onto their shirts, and these will soon be available for supporters to bid on with proceeds going to charity.

The main sale of the shirts, which have all been signed by the player, will take place in the Broadhall Suite before our fixture with Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, with a selection of them available including Robin Shroot and Luke Freeman! Doors will open at 12pm and the sale will begin at 12:30pm.

These are the shirts that the Boro side had worn for every game until the Preston North End fixture, and they helped the side reach third in the table! Now limited edition, with only 18 available, it is a fantastic piece of Stevenage memorabilia and there are many ways to get your hands on one.

Shirts will also be available through other avenues, on eBay and at our Sportsman’s Dinner, however this Saturday is your best chance to get involved in an old-fashioned auction and get your hands on your favourite player’s shirt!

Proceeds are going to be split between the Royal British Legion and the SFC in the Community’s work in Kenya.
