Robin Shroot netted for the Boro again tonight and couldn’t wait to get in front of the Boro Player camera to once again discuss how he felt!
Tonight’s interview, which also shows his and Greg Tansey’s goals, is becoming a regular as Shroot continues to find the back of the net and after the game he exclaimed “If you don’t buy a ticket you don’t win the raffle!” He continued “I was very fortunate again to be in the right place at the right time.”
Boro went ahead through his first half effort and despite being pegged back after the break a blockbuster goal from Tansey and well-deserved strike from Lucas Akins tied up a first three points at home for unbeaten Boro.
Robin told us that he is “exceptionally grateful” to be playing football for a living and said that he felt his side “got into some fantastic areas throughout the first half”.
