MORO BACK AT BORO FOR MITCH

24 April 2013

Wales international striker Steve Morison is amongst those players announced this morning as taking part in the Mitchell Cole benefit game next month.

The 29-year old scored 89 goals in 153 appearances for Boro between 2006-09, including the winning goal in the first cup final at the new Wembley in 2007. His final Stevenage goal also came at the same end in the 2009 FA Trophy Final and he has since enjoyed successful spells at Millwall in League 1 and the Championship and at Norwich City in the Premier League before joining Leeds back in January. He has also won 20 caps for Wales.

Also announced today were Mark Creighton, Damian Batt, Harry Worley and Jack Midson, all of whom were former team-mates of Mitchell's at Oxford United.
