Graham Westley spoke to Boro Player ahead of this weekend’s game at Notts County and said there are similarities between the two sides.

He comments, “They will be as low on confidence as you can argue our camp will be. They’ll be determined as our camp will be to get their season up and running as well, so there will be two very similar mindsets going into this game.

“From our point of view it’s probably a much more important one in the sense we’ve got to break our duck and they haven’t. They broke theirs with a draw last weekend. So there’s more onus on us from our point of view to get ourselves up and running.

“Having said that we mustn’t make too much of these situations. We went into League 1 from League 2 and I remember shortly after the start of the season losing four on the bounce. It was a horrible feeling but you knew we were learning. I think that’s the most important thing – are we learning, are we getting better, are we improving?  If we are, then eventually we’ll find that winning level. Let’s keep our heads and make sure we’re believing in ourselves.”
