Gaffer confident of a good JPT result on the road at Swindon
Graham Westley took time out before training this morning to preview tomorrow’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy area semi-final at Swindon and started by looking at our Sky Bet League 1 counterparts.
“They’ve pushed on well in recent weeks and got themselves into a decent overall position," he said. "It’s not going to be an easy game, it never is going away in the cup.
“But we’ve shown in recent weeks that we’re capable of going to tough places and getting good results. The Peterborough game will give the lads a lot of confidence that we’ve got it in our camp to go and produce a strong away performance. It’s very much a question of looking what we did at Peterborough and building on that and making sure we go a step better.
“This team has been very good against the odds so far and not so good when the odds have been in its favour. It’s a question of building on the recent overall form and doing our best to make sure we get one step closer to Wembley.”
