Defender Luke Jones said the team would look to recover quickly after today's defeat at Colchester United.
With a trip to Bristol City on Sunday, the defender said it was important the players bounce back in the best way possible at Ashton Gate.
"The last three performances were solid and we were looking to build on that. We went two down today but we couldn’t find a response. That’s something we’ll have to look at in the next few days and then something we’ll have to put right.
"It’s massively important we dust ourselves down. As a team and a squad we’ve let ourselves down but we’ve got to bounce back as quickly as possible in two days.
"It’s tight, we need results and we’ll work on the training ground and try and move forward."
Luke also took time to praise the Boro fans, with over 400 present at the Weston Homes Community Stadium today.
"The fans were excellent. We'd like to thank them," he said. "We've not given them a great deal to cheer about today but they really stood by us and cheered us on and showed their appreciation at full time. They’ll be massive as we look to pick up points."
