BORO VICTORY IN BEES FRIENDLY

28 January 2013

Stevenage ran out 3-2 winners over Barnet at The Hive in an entertaining mid-season friendly.

Patrick Agyemang's first half strike came either side of two goals for the Bees as the Mark Newson led side went in behind at the break.

After the interval Boro stepped up their game and the introduction of a selection of Darren Sarll's youth team sparked energy into the side.

Agyemang got his second on the afternoon and Dani Lopez, back from a successful loan spell with Aldershot Town, completed the victory with a neat finish.

Boro will face QPR Under 21s in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Lamex Stadium on Tuesday as Gary Smith looks to get minutes into the legs of his side, who haven't had a game since January 12th.

This weekend Leyton Orient come to the Lamex Stadium and the League One fixture is set to be a decent affair with two sides going all out for victory.
