Stevenage Football Club are pleased to announce that they are now actively recruiting and signing up young people in the local area for the experience of the summer! The NCS Project is created with the aim of building confidence, meeting new people, learning new skills and then putting it into practice by creating and managing a social action project.

Login to your Boro Player account now for a short video which shows just what an amazing scheme this is!

You need to be 16 or 17 years old to apply (school year 11 or 12) and available between the 22nd July 2013 and the 16th August 2013

For those that meet the above criteria the project is a 4 week course running Monday to Friday based around:
- An away residential in week 1
- A home residential in week 2
- Project Planning and Fundraising in week 3
- Project management and delivery in week 4

At SFC we are proud to have secured Condover Hall Mansion house in Shropshire as the confirmed venue of the "away residential" and are currently putting together an exciting portfolio of local providers whom are proposing relevant social action projects within the community for groups to undertake.

Condover Hall

There is a small sign up fee of £50 which covers your deposit for residential bookings as spaces are limited to a small number on the course. All other fees are funded and given the amount of activities, meals and overnight stays across the 4 weeks this works out at a saving of over £1,000!

Signing up couldn't be easier, simply download the form attached (You can find this here) fill it in and return to:
