After this morning’s pitch inspection at Gigg Lane we can confirm that the fixture with Bury has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Snow is already falling heavily over the UK, and the pitch had already been battered by adverse weather earlier this week, and this has led to the decision to postpone the game by the match referee.
The clubs will now work together with the Football League to set a date for the rearranged fixture and this will be announced in due course.
Please note that due to the snow in Stevenage the club shop will be closed today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday).
