Capital One 2 for 1 promotion gives Boro fans opportunity to claim a free ticket to the Capital One Cup

Nearly 10,000 fans will get a taste of the Capital One Cup for free this season, thanks to a brand new “buy one get one free” offer for Rounds 1 and 2 of the competition.

Capital One, the credit card company and sponsor of The Football League Cup, is giving fans of participating home clubs the chance to claim an additional match ticket for free when purchasing their own ticket.

The Capital One 2 for 1 promotion will be running across Rounds 1 and 2 of the Capital One Cup 2013/14, with special codes live in local radio and newspaper media from 8th July. Boro supporters can claim their free additional ticket for the first round game v Ipswich on Tuesday 6th August by quoting the promotional code either heard on Jack FM or read in The Comet when purchasing their ticket from the club shop or ticket office (open on match days only).

Michael Woodburn, Chief Marketing Officer at Capital One, added: “At Capital One we are delighted to announce what we feel is a brilliant offer for fans, allowing around 10,000 supporters to attend a Round 1 or Round 2 fixture for free. Last season’s competition provided incredible drama and storylines on the pitch, and now we’re thrilled to help so many fans enjoy the start of another great journey in the Capital One Cup.”
