Three youngsters from the club’s youth team have been handed their first professional deal.

Striker Jo N’Guessan and defenders George Allen and Jhai Dhillon have all signed one-year contracts at The Lamex Stadium.

All three have impressed for Boro’s youngsters during 2012/13 and were instrumental in the club’s journey to the Fourth Round of the FA Youth Cup - the first time a Boro youth side has made it this far in the competition.

Youth team captain Allen (above) also enjoyed a loan spell at Banbury last season with Dhillon (below) spending a month at neighbours Hitchin Town.

Meanwhile N’Guessan (pictured below), who scored four times in that FA Youth Cup run, made his senior Boro debut in the final game of the season v MK Dons and put in a bright performance during his 38 minutes on the pitch.

The remainder of the second year scholars have been released and the club would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their efforts and wish them the best of luck in their future careers.
