Goalkeeper Steve Arnold has signed a 2-year contract extension with Stevenage Football Club.
The promising 23-year old has made 22 appearances for the first team since joining in the summer and has quickly settled in at the club.
At 6’5”, Arnold is a towering ‘keeper and speaking after putting pen to paper he told us “I was definitely happy to sign the deal – I came here in the summer as a second choice and managed to get my way into the team which I was delighted with.”
He continued “Obviously I then got sent off at Carlisle United so I’m on the bench at the moment but of course I was delighted to sign a new deal and hopefully if I continue to work hard then soon I can get back into the team, but most importantly we just need to get back to winning ways.”
The full interview with Steve will be in the programme this weekend as Stevenage take on Colchester United at the Lamex Stadium.
