In the final part of our look at next season's opponents we talk about Tranmere Rovers, Walsall and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tranmere Rovers

Prenton Park – Capacity 16,587

place and 7 points behind the play-off places.thTranmere looked dead-certs for promotion last season with an amazing run of form into the new year, but a late dip left them in 11

Boro failed to find victory against the Superwhites last year, drawing 1-1 at home with a last minute Greg Tansey spectacular securing a point and losing 3-1 away in Mark Roberts’ first game in temporary charge of the side after Gary Smith left the club.

We also met during the season previous, and won 2-1 at home but were well-beaten 3-0 at Prenton Park.

During the 2011/12 season it was even tighter; goalless at the Lamex and a 1-1 draw away with Michael Bostwick scoring a brilliant curled effort to level things.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

Molineux – Capacity 31,700

Wolves unexpectedly dropped to League One after relegation from the Championship last season, just one year on from relegation from the Premier League. Wanderers finished second from bottom last season with 51 points from 46 games.

The two sides are yet to meet in the Football League so next season’s trip to Molineux is sure to be a stand out on the fixture list.
