GW: WE CAN WIN AT THE WEEKEND

1 November 2013

Despite all the odds being against Stevenage this weekend, the Boro players and staff go into the fixture full of optimism, and why not? After 4 wins in the last 5, including victories over promotion aspiring clubs such as Brentford and MK Dons the team feel ready to take on Wolves.

Graham Westley spoke about an interesting trend throughout Wolves’ season which he hopes to capitalise on.

“Sides have gone to Molineux and lost 11-1 in the first 75 minutes of games and we know that in the last 15 minutes of games, sides have won 4-3. That’s fact.

“I think that tells you that as games go on sides grow in confidence and learn to play the game, the team in front of them, not the environment.

"The challenge for us is to make sure we do that and I’m sure come the weekend we’ll be ready to go and do the job.

“We weren’t ready to go to Preston, I knew that. We can win at the weekend.”

Bruno Andrade has made a positive impact since coming into the side and was equally as positive.

“The spirits are high and the morale’s good.

“It’s a difficult game but we’ve got enough quality to beat Wolves. There’s no reason why we can’t go there and snatch a win.”

Jordan Burrow has been featuring in the side more and more recently, and was chomping at the bit ahead of the game.

“We’re not afraid to play them at all. All the lads are really excited for it.

“It’ll be good for the fans coming down to Wolves.

"I'm sure many of them won’t have gone there before and I know I haven’t, so I’m looking forward to it and all the players are too."
