Stevenage FC fans are amongst the most well-behaved in the top four divisions, according to a Home Office report.
The report, published on football-related arrests and football banning orders in 2012/13, shows that there were no Stevenage fans arrested at The Lamex Stadium in any of the club’s home games last season. Stevenage were one of only four sides in this division and 11 throughout the 92 Premier League and Football League club to have achieved 0 arrests at home matches.
Stevenage were also one of just 19 clubs in the top four divisions which didn’t issue a banning order during the 2012/13 season.
The club would like to thank each and every Boro fan for their continued fantastic behaviour on match days. These facts, combined with the Family Excellence Award we received earlier this year, prove what a family-friendly location The Lamex Stadium continues to be.
As fans will be aware, attracting more and more people to The Lamex Stadium is one of the club’s primary objectives. So whether it’s the next generation of supporters or people from the local area who have never been to Boro before, they can all be assured of a safe, friendly, family environment here at Stevenage FC.
