Former England strikers Sir Geoff Hurst MBE and Jimmy Greaves will both be in town in December for the latest in Stevenage FC’s Sportsman’s Dinners.
Hurst, the only man to score a hat-trick in a World Cup Final, and Greaves, the scorer of 44 goals for England, will be relating tales from their careers at the event at the Holiday Inn, Stevenage, on Monday, December 16.
A three-course roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served, and there will also be a comedian on the night.
