Two youngsters into fourth round qualifying round of FA Cup
Four of Boro’s loanees were in action this weekend with two of them advancing into the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Defender George Allen played the whole game as Bishop’s Stortford won 6-1 away at Chipstead in the third qualifying round, whilst Matt Ball was an 81st minute sub for Boreham Wood in their 2-0 away win at Maidstone United. The draw for the fourth qualifying round takes place later this morning.
In Skrill South, Anthony Furlonge returned from suspension to help Hayes & Yeading secure a fifth away victory of the season with a 2-1 win at Farnborough. The right-back played the first 45 minutes before being replaced at the break after being on the receiving end of a hefty challenge.
Meanwhile Dani Lopez played the full 90 minutes for Barnet as they drew 1-1 with Wrexham in a bad-tempered Skrill Premier game which saw three men sent off in front of the live BT Sport cameras.
