Former Boro midfielder Darren Murphy has linked up with the club’s Foundation on a voluntary basis to gain some coaching experience.
The Irishman, pictured here working with the Foundation at a school in Welwyn Garden City, has most recently played for Skrill Premier side Woking following his release by Port Vale.
Head of Foundation Alex Tunbridge stated, “Darren approached me a few weeks ago about helping out with the work we do in the community whilst he goes through the process of gaining his coaching badges. I was delighted to offer him the opportunity and I am sure his experiences will be beneficial to many of the people we engage with.”
