Come and find out more about proposed 2015 African adventure
Supporters are reminded that the Stevenage FC Foundation will be holding an information evening tomorrow night (Monday 28th April 2014) where more details will be given about the proposed 2015 trip to The Gambia.
This follows the recent trip earlier this month to the African country where the Foundation’s 15-strong group of volunteers worked hard to improve life for a group of youngsters in the village of Sittanunku. Here they built a brand new adventure playground, providing football coaching for the local team and visited local homes and schools to experience what life is really like in this part of the world.
The meeting is being held in the Executive Suite at 7.30pm. The 2015 visit is planned to take place between 31st March and 7th April.
It is compulsory to attend this meeting if you wish to participate in this trip. To register your interest please email your name, date of birth and occupation to community@stevenagefc.com. Please note volunteers must be aged between 18 and 70 to comply with the Foundation's insurance policies.
