WESTLEY ON WYCOMBE: "WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO WORK VERY HARD TO WIN"

21 August 2014

After consecutive league games on the road, manager Graham Westley said his side are ready to put in a really strong showing at home to Wycombe Wanderers this Saturday.

He told us, "We know at the weekend we’ll get what we earn from the performance we put in. We’re getting ready to put in a really strong performance. We’re back on home territory after two away days. We’ll be better as a team for the three league games that we’ve played together and it’s upto us to make sure we are.

"These (Wycombe) have started with two wins in their first three, so they’ve got a bit of confidence and a bit of form, we’ll need to be on our mettle to beat them.

"When you look back we beat Hartlepool but they went on to lose their next two league games, so arguably they’re one of the lower end sides at this moment in time. Wycombe are one of the top end sides at this moment in time so we know we’re going to have to work very hard to win the football match. It’ll be a good test."
